Melanie Scawinski

I grew up in Elburn, Illinois. Once married, my husband and I moved to Cortland, but have since made our home in Geneva to be a part of the wonderful community I teach in! We have four children, Cameron, Avery, Elliana, and Gavin. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family, as well as traveling.

I have an Associate degree in Elementary Education from Waubonsee Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Studies with an Emphasis on Education from Charter Oak State College.

I received my Montessori Certification for AMS for 3-6 year olds through MECA Seton, and have been a Montessori Directress for over 19 years. I have been at Mansio for 13 years.
