Throughout my life's journey I have had the opportunity to work in many different settings, but my favorite place to be is working with young children. I have enjoyed working as a preschool teacher's assistant for over eight years and have two adult children of my own. I have also been a nanny for some time.

   I earned my bachelor's degree from Illinois State University, majoring in Speech Communications and English. I have lived in a few different places, but have been in Kane County for the last twenty years. 

   In my free time I enjoy crossword puzzles, watching crime shows and playing word games. Also, I am a backyard bird enthusiast. My favorite birds are the humming bird and the cardinal.
