My Montessori journey began as a 3-year-old when I attended a Montessori in Barrington, IL. Although my educational journey ended in Montessori at kindergarten, I always had fond memories of my time spent there.



I received my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. My knowledge and interest of the Montessori philosophy increased so much that I took my Montessori 0-3 training the summer of 1993. My love for this age brought me to the 2-3 classroom for over 27 years. I’ve been a part of Mansio since 1996 and have been blessed to not only teach 2-3, but Kindergarten as well. In 2022 I became the Head of School, and love being in this role as much as I have loved teaching.

I have 2 children, Tori (22) and Connor (19) as well as a dog named Harley. I’ve been fortunate enough to have had my own children be a part of Mansio from birth on. It’s been wonderful watching them grow into adults and I believe Mansio was what provided them with the strong foundation they have today.
