If you are looking for a Montessori preschool in South Elgin that believes in nurturing children to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle, Mansio Montessori can help! Read on to learn more about how Mansio invests in building your child’s academic, social, and emotional foundations.
Mansio Montessori of Geneva has been educating children in the Fox Valley community since 1981 and has had the privilege of being like a second home to hundreds of students during their preschool and kindergarten years. Nestled in a residential neighborhood, one block from the scenic Fox River, Mansio Montessori of Geneva is located in a renovated 3,000 square foot residence, which is home to five classrooms.
Our programs start as early as 15 months and go through kindergarten. During these crucial early years at Mansio, our students gain not just essential skills for their future educational journey such as reading, writing, and math, but foundational life skills such as critical thinking and problem solving by exploring their environment through hands-on learning. With a warm, caring environment and independent active learning, students naturally build self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-reliance and resilience that they carry with them throughout their lives.
As much as we enjoy educating our students with the Montessori method, we love it even more when families adopt the lifestyle at home and beyond! Just fifteen minutes away from South Elgin, Geneva’s Mansio Montessori is well acquainted with the local preschool education and charming culture. With the Fox River Trolley Museum, Blackhawk Waterfall, John J. Duerr Forest Preserve, and Vasa Park nearby, you have multiple outdoor facilities and resources to continue applying Montessori learning beyond the classroom!
At Mansio, we care for our South Elgin preschoolers by implementing a healthy, clean, and creative learning environment. To do so, our dedicated staff delivers a consistent and reliable education that encourages children to engage in both social and academic excellence, all while maintaining the most current health and safety guidelines recommended by the CDC for day cares and preschools.
As part of our preschool curriculum, the methods implemented at Mansio are completely personalized, deeply contrasting traditional schooling. By following this approach, we can better detect individual strengths and weaknesses during a child’s early education.
Therefore, we direct our attention towards a child-centered learning environment as opposed to one that is standardized. Within our multi-age classrooms, we believe there are unique learning and leadership opportunities to be found through socialization and children teaching other children in hands-on, play-focused education. As a result, most graduates from our program excel in reading, math, development, and maturation promoting self-regulation and social consciousness.
We are committed to these Montessori principles and have invested in families among the South Elgin community and beyond since 1981. Our Montessori preschool program values the individual learning style and pace of each child. For parents who prioritize the same principles, we invite you to learn more about our approach and available Montessori preschool programs.
We desire to inspire a passion for learning within each child they can carry with them as they grow and mature throughout their academic careers. The preschool ages are a prime time to begin formulating habits they can carry with them from kindergarten into healthy, balanced adulthood.
Our staff understands the importance of keeping your children healthy and safe as they learn and develop their social skills. At Mansio Montessori of Geneva, we are dedicated to preparing your toddler’s development with optimal learning environments that stimulate educational development both at home and in school. By tailoring the educational experience to each child, we inspire our students with a passion for learning.
We can assure you that we regularly monitor the most current health and safety guidelines recommended by the CDC to create the safest learning environment for your little ones. If you wish to know more about the specific measures we take to defend our preschool classroom from COVID-19, we are happy to answer any questions!
